and provides an insight into neighbouring fields of science
among which an interdisciplinary perception and the
development of integrative approaches is promoted.
Biosensor Technology is a powerful alternative to
conventional analytical techniques,harnessing the
specificity and sensitivity of biological systems in small and
generally low cost devices.Biosensor research and
development has been directed at the beginning mainly in
water environment and food analysis, while the agricultural
and veterinary testing is at the moment a new field.
