TGS - Transportadora de Gas del Sur

TGS operates the most extended gas pipeline
in Latin America (5360 miles) that transports
76,04 MMm3/d of gas. TGS needed to update its
infrastructure and a deep reengineering of their
core applications, which support both up and
downstream activities.
Hexacta worked close to TGS for more than 3 years
to migrate their billing, gas transport, contracts,
and pipe monitoring systems, using the latest
Java and Oracle technologies, providing interfaces
with multiple systems including SAP. After that,
Hexacta continued to support TGS strategies with a
maintenance plan that continues today.

enjoys a 18% market share in Argentina with more
than 1,000 gas stations.
Hexacta was engaged by Shell to define a business
and financial model to analyze different alternatives
to reach Shell’s main goal: provide a communication
channel that would offer value added services and
increase traffic in its gas stations.
Hexacta was selected to develop and deploy
the chosen solution using the latest Microsoft
technologies.

Repsol is one of the largest petrol companies in
the world, with activities in Europe, Latin America,
Africa and Asia, producing more than 1.004.000
bep/day and serving 7.250 gas stations all over the
world.
Repsol needed a platform to administer and share
their knowledge base all over their Argentinean
locations, integrating different data sources and
types of information.
Hexacta did a deep analysis of Repsol’s data needs
and developed a functional prototype that included
forums, chats, content management and mailing
lists.

Techint

www.techint.com
Techint comprises more than 100 companies
operating worldwide. Techint is the world’s largest
manufacturer of seamless steel tubes, mainly used
in the oil industry.
Exiros, one of the Techint companies, needed a tool
to access, compare and evaluate documents related
to the supply activities.
Hexacta was responsible to design the technical
architecture of the application considering all
infrastructures constrains and organization’s rules.
The functionality included analytical queries of
large data, manual recording of specific information
and managing information from relational database
to a Windows SharePoint Services.

112 extraction platforms.
Petrobras has a software development center in
Argentina that supports more than 200 projects
supporting their extraction processes.
Hexacta reengineered the entire software
development process, including third party
companies that work with Petrobras, and
implemented Visual Studio Team System to setup
an environment that fully support Petrobras’ unique
development needs.
