WinSales and Novell Netware

WinSales Version: 4.x

Revised: 11/22/99

WinSales requires Novell for IPX routing!

The only way around this is to have all the users accessing the WinSales
database use NT workstations, then you can then change the Transp
ort
protocol to use TCPIP. Right now WinSales is configured to use IPX/SPX
and that
requires

the Novell servers to route those packets.

We have seen users who have migrated from Novell to NT, who did not
switch protocols, have users be locked out of the
database when they attempt
to log in.
