Dash Pad

The BridgeMTM dash pad

assembly (fig 1) consists of
the pad plate, attached ball,
and attached connecting rod.
In use, the pad rests at the de-
sired point on the dash edge.
Flex rails support and grip under-
neath. Your GPS

device is mounted on the ball

(fig 2). The connecting rod

attaches to the anchor plate
which is wedged at the base of
the windshield to secure the

entire system.

The rod can be bent to the

angle (fig 2) and length needed.

The pad should be located with a
2” over
hang at the edge
of the dash to suspend the
device. The underside is
fully padded (fig 3) to

protect the dashboard. In
use, the pad can be pushed
or lifted out of the way to

access any instrumentation
on the dashboard. Then the pad returns to
its location. The pad is held in place by the
tension of connection with the anchor plate
and the flexible grips on the pad. Folds
and stows away in bag when not in use.

tablet, any sat nav device. No OEM
specific hardware required.

BridgeMTM Platform

The BridgeMTM

universal tablet mount
“platform” (fig 9)

handles any sized

tablet device as well as
any size phone and
most sat navs.

The BridgeMTM platform is mounted on dash pad with ring
mount assembly (fig 11). See Speed Clip (fig 13) for the
easiest way to mount devices under 5”. Rubberized side
rails (fig 16) are flexed and formed to secure the

(fig 12) device. The rails are inserted (fig 12) to support all
4 sides of the device. Device removal is fast and easy by
releasing one or more side rail.

Anchor Plate

The anchor plate (fig 5) is 6” with
a vinyl retainer tube and rubberized
loop. The connector rod is inserted
through the plate, and bent at a
right angle (fig 6) where needed.
The excess bent rod is tucked into
the crevice between windshield
base and dash panel with the in-
cluded tuck tool.

The entire plate is then pushed and
wedged between the windshield and dash panel with downward pressure
causing the vinyl retainer to grip the glass. The anchor straps (fig 8) are
also tucked into the crevice with the tuck tool (fig 15).

Once installed, the entire system is firmly anchored as the vinyl retainer
grips the glass and loop grips the edge of dash board. The rod connected
to the dash pad, can always be bent to re
position the dash pad as
needed. Removal of the anchor plate assembly is accomplished with a
firm tug of the entire system to dislodge the anchor plate.

The anchor plate can be positioned anywhere along the windshield base
except for any airbag release zone i.e., to the right of the center console.

Please Note:
Do not “over
push” while inserting or wedging the anchor plate between dashboard and glass. Doing so could
result in damage to dashboard panel or windshield seal. When pushed snugly the anchor plate vinyl retaining tube and rubber
straps will more than sufficiently anchor the entire assembly. Some dashboards will have defroster grill at the base of wind
eld glass.
Use care when installing the anchor plate to avoid compromising the plastic vent grille. Remove entire assembly easily with
a q
uick tug.

Speed Clip

Misc Parts Included

The Speed Clip attaches quickly

to the dash pad ball for

mounting all devices under 5”

diagonal screens.

Use the BridgeMTM

Platform for all larger devices.

The device can be attached or

removed from the Speed Clip with
one hand. Can be rotated to any tilt
or orientation desired.

Lined with rubberized padding to

protect your device, the Speed Clip

loaded design holds firmly.

The tuck
tool is an important aid in pressing the

anchor plate straps and the excess connector rod into the
crevice between the windshield and the dashboard cover.

This serves two purposes: 1) provides a clean look

2) when tucked away into the crevice, the straps and

connecting rod serve to securely hold the anchor plate in
place while allowing easy removal with a tug.

The side
rails are thermal rubber coated

steel ties that provide maximum
flexibility of contour while holding devices
securely in place. Used only with the
BridgeMTM Platform for devices over 5”.

Quick Install

Lay out parts from bag. With a tape measure, calculate the distance from windshield base to front edge of dash
and add about 2”. The exact location will depend on vehicle’s dash configuration, but measure from the point
along the windshield base you will be placing the anchor plate

to the point on the edge of the dashboard you will
be suspending your device.
Never mount the anchor to the right of the center console, i.e. passenger airbag
Unfold the connecting rod to a straight configuration.
Insert the dash pad/connector rod through the anchor plate
(fig 6) with anchor straps facing away. Using the measurement from step 1, measure from dash pad ball, to the
straps side of the anchor plate and
bend the rod at a right angle in the direction desired (fig 8).
To see if it is the
correct length, temporarily place the anchor plate into position, and slightly bend rod connected to dash pad as
needed. The dash pad/ball should over
hang the point on the dash where you want your device to be suspended
by about 1

2”. If not, adjust the entire assembly until it is where you want it. On the initial set
up, you may need
to bend or re
bend the rod more than once to achieve the precise position. This is a process you do only once.

Thank You for purchasing the BridgeMTM Kit. Please read to get familiar with this new design concept

For devices 5” or larger,
use the universal BridgeMTM Platform
. Insert 4 side
rail ties as loops into holes in plat-
form one on each side (fig 11). Place the platform on a flat surface with logo up facing you. Place your tablet or
device onto the padded platform in the desired orientation: landscape or portrait mode. Fold the looped side
onto the device securing each side (fig 12). Spread the loops to the desired position avoiding buttons, or ports.
The device should now be secure on the platform. The device can be removed by releasing the side
rail loops.

If attaching a cell phone sized device (under 5” diagonal screen)
use the Speed Clip
. Press and snap onto the dash
pad ball. Place the device in the spring loaded grip and rotate to the desired orientation and tilt.

Once the correct initial positioning has been achieved,
press both the excess connector rod and the anchor plate
straps down into the crevice between windshield base and dash board cover using the included tuck tool
. Press
the straps until they disappear into the crevice. Likewise the connector rod. At the same time press forward the
entire anchor plate assembly,
wedging it firmly between windshield glass and the dashboard. The vinyl retainer
tubing on the anchor plate will flex and grip the glass for a strong hold.
The anchor plate is now firmly in place.

The rod between anchor plate and dash pad (fig 7)
can now be further bent or bowed slightly as needed to suc-
cessfully locate the dash pad in the exact position on the edge of the dash.
Adjust the dash pad rubberized rails
underneath the dash pad to just the right support configuration
to fit the slope or design of your dash board
. The
connector rod tension and rubberized grip on the dash pad will keep the entire assembly firmly in place.

Place the BridgeMTM platform on the dash pad ball (fig 2) and hand tighten the ring down snugly.
Very snug
Adjust for tilt. The connector rod can always be bent slightly to place the dash pad in the exact location desired.
If the device you are suspending is in front of some instrumentation, vents, or knobs, no problem. When access is
needed, just lift/push the dash pad up and out of the way to access the item. When completed, the dash pad will
drop back into place. Bend rod and adjust dash pad on the dashboard until any bounce is eliminated.

Larger or heavier devices may want to wobble some when suspended. Be sure all connections are as firm and
We advise the device be suspended

touching the dash instrumentation whatsoever in order to avoid
scratching or changing dash controls
. To help minimize wobble, insert a 5th “fat”side
rail (included in the kit) to
stabilize the platform and shape the rail to touch the dash front panel providing additional support and stability.
Removal is much quicker and easier. Just detach the BridgeMTM platform or Speed Clip
from dash pad ball. Remove your device from the mount. Lifting the dash pad assembly
up, sharply pull or tug at the anchor plate assembly until it dislodges from the windshield
base. Bend the rod back to a straight position and remove from anchor plate. Re
fold rod
to fit bag and stow back with all parts in a convenient location.
