To develop and update core training resources on current
practices reflecting the new role of HR managers, within
the framework of the ITU/ISAP Programme N5 “Human
Capacity Building “


To select and disseminate benchmarking information


To promote the creation of communities of Human
Resources Managers and equip them with tools and
models for the optimization of the Human Resources
management and development practices in their
respective organisations


This project has been estimated at more than 3’000’000 $.

Future Steps

This workshop is a third step which complements the first workshop on
Changement Management Implemented in April 2003 (Amman) and the
workshop held in Rabat in July 2004 on “Alignment of HR on
organizational changes”


Further steps will consist of :




A regional virtual forum on Evaluation of Performance set up in
September 2005 to discuss on the current trends and practices in the
region




The HR Club to be created as a worldwide platform for the aggregation
of annual results and dissemination of HR benchmarks
