Installation information:


Prior to installation


Download the 11.0.0.0
-
MDM
-
FP00IF001.zip from the location mentioned above.

Extract the content of the archive file on

a temporary location. The following artifacts
will be listed in the “RDM” folder:

RDM_11.0.0.FP00IF001_20130605
-
1007.jar

RDMClientWeb.war

Installing

Update EAR:

Log into WAS Admin Console.

Navigate to Applications > Application Types > WebSphere Enterpris
e
Applications.

Click on RDMClientEar

Click on Manage Modules.

Click checkbox for RDMClientWeb.

Click on Update and provide the RDMClientWeb.war file from the local
file system.

Click next, provide the fast path and click through the default options.

Save

and finish. Synchronize nodes if updating on cluster.

Upload iFix Bundle(s)


Navigate to Environment > OSGi Bundle Repositories > Internal
Repository


Click on New.


Use the file browser to locate the RDM_11.0.0.FP00IF001_20130605
-
1007.jar and upload it t
o the OSGi Internal Bundle Repository.

Replace the Bundle in the EBA with the new Bundle


Navigate to Applications > Application Types > Assets


Click on the EBA you intend to patch, for example
com.ibm.mdm.cdh.app<INSTANCE_NAME>.eba
-
<INSTANCE_NAME>.eba
a
sset.


Click on Update bundle versions in this application.


You’ll see a list of the OSGi bundles comprising this EBA. Locate the
RDM bundle and select the newer version (11.0.0.FP00IF001_20130605
-
1007)
from the drop down.


Click Preview and then click

Create, click save.

Update the running bundles


Navigate to Applications > Application Types > Business Level
Applications


Click on the EBA Asset, for example CDH
-
operational
-
server
-
EBA
-
<INSTANCE_NAME>.


Click on the EBA asset associated with this applic
ation, for example
com.ibm.mdm.cdh.app<INSTANCE_NAME>.eba.


Click on “Update to Latest Deployment” button.


Click OK and then click through the next few default options.


Click Finish and Save.


Synchronize nodes if applicable.
