elated support to the Construction staff and their inspectors during the Demonstration Pile, initial
continued production, and beyond, as necessary.

As required, the D5 M&R Geotech PM, M&R

Technologist (
DCT) will have Independent Assurance (IA) tests performed during the demonstration pile,
and continued production pile, operations.


8.

Inspector

A.

Inspection performance, continuity, and documentation are critical to
a successful Auger Cast Pile (ACP)
installation
.

The inspector(s) must be CTQP qualified. The level of support they will need is contingent upon their
field experience and their field
-
demonstrated performance.

One inspector for logging, one additional inspector for testing grout, and assis
ting logging.

11.

Production Piles

A.

Contingent upon satisfactory performance during the demonstration pile, the Contractor, Construction PA,
and all inspectors involved, are notified in writing by the D5 M&R Geotech PM of the M&R Geotech
recommendation for continued installation of the produ
ction auger cast piles utilizing the materials and
process as demonstrated. Generally, this will be a field
-
determined and provided approval, followed up
with a formal letter from the D5 M&R Geotech PM.

B.

Ensure that the same
process

used to install the
demonstration piles is used to install the production
piles.


12.

Pile Installation

Piles to be located
