clicked on the most), are those that are predominantly in the center of the screen
you want to be and,

SEO is an abbreviation for “Search Engine Optimization” and as mentioned earlier, is an alternative to
advertising. The way that SEO works, is that via a variety of methods (usually through

“authority” into it

search terms that you want
your business website to get noticed in.

search word “plumbing”, so that after a period of time, in the eyes of the search engine

most authority on that topic and consequently, will display your website as the best match for that
particular search term.
Your website shows up as the
No.1 selection for the search result, the user will click on the
link to your website, and will then be able to decide if they want to use your services or not.
Admittedly, it won't automatically force a sale, but like any bricks and mortar store, if you
people into the store, chances are they will buy something at some point.
Naturally, this SEO “method” can be applied to just about any type of service or product known to man
basically, if someone is looking for it, good SEO will put your websi
te in front of that user.
How Long Does It
To effectively promote your website in a search term that will actually generate people visiting your
website, it will usually take around 3 months of continual work to get your website into a position of
authority for the results in the chosen category.
Naturally, there are some variables to this time frame, and for more difficult (and usually more
lucrative) search terms it may take a little longer, but this is where a good SEO company will be able to
lp streamline your SEO strategy, so that you get to those users as quickly as possible and to start
getting clicks on your website and those clicks converting into $$.
