Position Title

Finance Administrator


Principal Function


The Finance Administrator, in
cooperation with the
Director of Operations
and
Finance
, will be responsible for managing;




Payroll



Cash payments



Cash receipts



Petty cash



Preparation of financial information in a timely fashion



General ledger



Pledge and gifts support data for the tax deductable funds for Community
Care, Schools
Ministry and Karinya, including tracking, accounting and
reporting services.


Reports to

Director of Operations and Finance


Key Working Relationships

Office Manager

Facilities Manager

Events manager

Café Manager

All staff and volunteers involved with
office and administrative functions

Church Treasurer



Accountabilities, Responsibilities & Duties


Budgets and Financial Reporting



Assist the Director of Operations and Finance with the preparation of the
annual budget where required



Preparation of financ
ial reports and actual against budget monthly



Provide financial reporting to Director of Operations and Finance



Prepare cash flow management processes



Manage processes to record & reconcile expenses against income and
prov
ide regular financial reporting


Financial Processing (using MYOB)



Process accounts payables, obtain payment authorities, record in MYOB &
prepare for payment, process online payments and reco
rd payments



Processing and recording cash and online giving

Prepare accrua
ls as required & record in MYOB



Maintain the Asset R
egister & Depreciation Schedule



Support preparation of

Annual Audits & preparation of annual financial
stateme
nts working with the Director of Operations and Finance, Treasur

and auditors


Payroll Management (using MYOB)

repare fortnightly payroll and process to bank



Produce & issue payslips



Maintain all payroll records



P
rocess leave records & accruals



Prepare & Pay associated payroll payment
s eg Workcover & superannuation



Prepare yearly Payroll reconcili
ations & PAYG Payment Summaries



Support all other employ
er payroll related requirements

Terms and Conditions




2 days per week part

time
initially for a 12 month period and then reviewed
annually



Salary
and superannuation
in accordance with BUV and SBC guidelines



Four weeks annual leave

pro rata



Carer’s leave, sick lea
ve, long service leave and other entitlements in
accordance with statutory regulations

on a pro rata basis
