Course Description

This
course provides a background on the characteristics, organizations

and
operations of a business. Topics such as organizing,

planning, staffing, marketing,
decision
-
making and communications

are explored. This course is geared toward
students who

want to ex
plore the possibility of management or business as a

college
major.



Classroom Policy and Procedures



Students will be

No work for other courses may be done during class time. Homework is due at the

tests or any missed work as soon as possible. Students w

Early Dismissal

Students involved in sports or co

curricular activities that require an early dismissal
must inform the teacher a day before
the event. Students are responsible for any
notes, homework, quizzes and tests that are due the following day.

is posted on the teacher’s Edmodo.com

web site and announced at
the end of class. Students are required to write their homework assignments in their
agendas. Homework

completed on the due date will receive no credit, as homework is generally discussed
during class.
