Abstract:With the fast development of information technology (IT),


modularity becomes an important subject in knowledge economic era


and attracts much attention from theoretical

circles. Thus modular


organization, as a new organization management model in the context


of network economy, turns into a hot subject in the area of


industrial organization research. The emergence of modularity



technology drives organizations to implement modularity accordingly,


and brings a new concept of organization design as well. This paper


summarizes the features of modular organization and analyzes the


intern
al mechanism of modular organization's value innovation. The


competitive advantage of modularity includes: cost decreasing,


making full use of external resources, flexible response to market


change and helpful for kno

Abstract:The tre
atment of chromium containing wastewater using


flyash and modified flyash as adsorbents was studied. The effects of


time, pH, the dosage of absorbents, initial concentration on the


removal of Cr (VI) in wastewater wer
e discussed. The results showed


that the modified flyash has a better efficiency on the removal of


Cr (VI). The removal rate of Cr (VI) is 97.52% under the conditions


of the pH=1.0, adsorption time of 90 minutes and q
uantity of


modified flyash of 2g. Absorption treatment of wastewater containing


chromium with modified flyash satisfied Langmuir isotherm and


Freundlich equation with physical process as major adsorption. ©

Abstract:The teleost gas bladder is a gas
-
filled internal organ that


processes gas exchange and controls buoyancy. Here we report that an



emerging heterocyclic brominated flame retardant,


tris(2,3
-
dibromopropyl) isocyanurate (TBC), causes defects in the


inflation of the gas bladder of zebrafish larvae. This could cause


impaired motility, whic
h can ultimately lead to their death.


Exposure to zebrafish embryos revealed that TBC had the most


significant influence on the larvae at 72
-
96 h postfertilization,


which coincided with the time that the gas bladder f
irst inflates.


Critical factors involved in early zebrafish gas bladder development


remained at normal levels, which indicated that TBC caused defects


in the inflation of the gas bladder without disrupting early



organogenesis. However, the ultrastructure of the gas bladder was


altered in the TBC
-
treated groups: the electron density of


cytoplasmic vesicles was changed and the mitochondria were damaged.


We deduce that T
BC causes damage to mitochondria that influences the


secretion of mucus
-
like material, resulting in defects in gas


bladder inflation. For the first time, we report that the gas


bladder could be a primary target organ
for TBC, and assessment of


the gas bladder should be included in toxicity testing protocols of


zebrafish embryos. © 2011 American Chemical Society.

Abstract:Though many location algorithms, such as least square


methods, fingerprints, data fusion and proximity methods, have been


suggested for pos
itions estimation, most of their performances have


been valuated based on the proposed simulations. The solution of


distinguishing NLOS environments is still a Gordian knot. Our


studies focus on the utilization of mea
surement report which is


generated by the user equipment and contains the information of cell


configurations and signal strengths. As the cell antenna azimuths


which belong to the same base stations direct respectivel
y, this


paper suggests a notion of virtual antenna for wireless location in


practical environment. The cells are categorized and a virtual


antenna is defined to indicate mobile's direction more accurately. A



step
-
by
-
step algorithm is also suggested for fitting the azimuths.


The experiment of field measurements exhibits the high accuracies of


our virtual antenna and a comparability of the fingerprints


algorithm and our

studies is shown. © 2011 IEEE.

Abstract:Firstly, the technical features and frequency


characteristics of IEEE802.11x protocol in wireless local area


network (WLAN) are introduced. The uplink and downlink ra
dio power


budget of current WLAN outdoor coverage is given. The functional


relationship of path loss and coverage distance in dense urban is


shown in figures. Secondly, hot spot area WLAN outdoor coverage



signal strength simulation has been done in dense urban for several


situations by using simulation software. The results of simulation


validate the accuracy of the calculation for uplink/downlink power


budget and pat
h loss in WLAN 2.4GHz band. Finally, a valuable hot


spot area WLAN outdoor coverage deployment suggestion is given: high


power WLAN BTS/AP and high gain antenna with 4 sectors deployment


will improve the uplink/downli
nk power budget and enlarge radio


coverage in hot spot area. The analysis in this paper is significant


for the deployment of wireless digital city. © 2011 IEEE.

system). Then based on entropy weight method,

Abstract:Salt slurry is the solid waste of th
e salt industry. The


study object is the salt slurry in Jianghan Salt & Chemical Complex.


This study investigates the application of the salt slurry in high


density polymer saturated brine
-
based drilling fluid. This


laboratory study indicates that the salt slurry may improve the


rheology behavior of the drilling fluid, and may measure up both the


API and the HTHP filtrate loss. On the premise of the same density


and p
H value as the basic drilling fluid recipe, with the increasing


of the salt slurry, the YP/PV value increased, but the friction


coefficient of the mud
-
cake increased. This investigate will reduce


the cost of the high
density polymer saturated brine

based drilling
