tatement of Purpose

Dar Al Fouad Hospital currently has a web presence that is outdated in the
appearance, structure and presentation of content. An opportunity exists to re
-
engineer the online presence to better reflect the mission of Dar Al Fouad
Hospital

(DAF)

e needs of the community and incorporate the latest
web technology

that may add value to DAF

Dar Al Fouad Hospital
(DAF)
brings world class medical care to Egypt and to the
Middle East. Through the dedication, perseverance and hard work of the medical
and management staff, the hospital has successfully treated tens of thousand
s of
patients over the years. The hospital's top notch record has received
international recognition and accreditation by the Joint Commission
International. Collaborations with the U.S.'s top cardiology hospital, the
Cleveland Clinic, have helped establis
h DAFH as the leading heart institute in the
region

DAF is adapting innovative techno
logical initiatives to support
achieving its
operation, tactical and strategic objectives. Accordingly, DAF needs to re

develop
its current website to bring more values to

support DAF hospital business.

Existing Information Systems

DAF currently have three prime information Systems as follow:

Health Management Information System (HMIS) and

Back office Management, nominally Financial management Information
System (FMIS)

h Systems are Oracle based IS tailored by third party.

A third information system is for managing Radiology images with
integration of the above two IS and is completely outsourced from a third
party.

DAF also has some other in

house small tailored modules

to serve some of its
business processes. These modules are combination of Oracle & SQL/ASP.net
infrastructure.

All proposals should be valid for acceptance for a period

of at least 40
calendar days from the deadline for submitting responses.

Warranty and technical support shall be for (1) year after final acceptance.
