2. A host with IP address 128.23.67.3 sends a message to a host with IP address 128.45.23.7. Does

3. A host with IP address 108.67.18.70 sends a limited broadcast packet to all hosts in the same
network. What are the source and destination IP addresses used in this packet?

4. In a class B subnet, w
e know the IP address of one of the hosts and the mask as given below:

What is the first address (subnet address)?


5. In a block of addresses, we know the IP address of one host is 182.44.82.16/26. What is t

The second group has 400 small businesses; each needs 16 addresses.

The third group has 2000 household
s; each needs 4 addresses.

Design the subblocks and give the slash notation for each subblock. Find out how many addresses
are still available after these allocations.
