Patient Simulation

Patient simulation technology is used for the advancement of
health care by implementing different types of technology to
represent specific anatomical scenarios that may be
possessed by the patient presently being observed. Some of
the most common types of patient simulation technologies
are virtual reality and visualization, desktop simulation, and
mannequin
-
based simulation. Simulation techniques are
used as learning tools for new medical professionals, allow
doctors to practice procedures, and are useful in determining
the best ways to implement the plan of treatment.
