1. Overview the required technical literature special regards on broadband
noise source models and their applications
2. Measure the geometry characteristic of the assigned fan
3. Determine the boundary conditions for the CFD simulation
4. Create the 3D model of the assigned fan geometry
5. Create the numerical meshes of the geometry with various mesh density
Description of the Final Project
(BMEGEÁTMWD2):
1. CFD simulation of the assigned fan
2. Investigate the mesh dependency of the results
3. Computational Aeroacoustics simulations, using broadband noise source
models
4. Evaluate and compare the results of the aerodynamic and aeroacoustics
simulations
5. Summarize the work in the required document format
