principles of smart grid technology. Students will use theory and hands

Differentiate between kenetic energy and potential energy.

Compare different types of energy including chemical, thermal radiation, mechanical and
electrical energy

Perform various power math calculations including Ohn's
Law, Load Calculations and
Kirchoff's Law

Compare generation and storage options.

6.

Demonstrate an understanding of smart grid strategies including dynamic management
and smart grid processes

7.

Evaluate methods for making the grid smarter including smart mete
rs and loading
resilience

8.

Examine smart grid regulation policies

9.

Evaluate various building codes related to smart grid technology

10.

Demonstrate an understanding of blue print reading
