NJ Hospital want to automate their Doctor, Patient, Department information so
that Doctor’s assistants are able to perform below tasks:



Search Patient details from hospital database


Print patients under each of doctors to create doctor workload reports


Update Doctor On Duty / Off Duty status for doctors




Business Case

NJ Hospital Dashboard will have 3 screens as mentioned below


Patient Screen


User is able to select Doctor ID from dropdown menu and related
patient’s information is displayed on the screen
.



Doctor Screen


User is able to view current duty status of all doctors
.


User is able to update duty (On
-
Duty/ Off
-
Duty) status of doctors
successfully.



Search screen


User is able to search Patient’s information such as Name, Address, Bed
number, and Ward number. Search is based on user inputs i.e. Patient
Last Name, Ward number, and Bed number.


Wild card search is supported by Search screen

Deployment Diagram


Used to display patients for selected doctor in dropdown


Doctor ID in dropdown populated dynamically from database


Updates Doctor status as On Duty or Off

Patient Screen


Patient Screen shows list of all patients allocated to selected doctor in the list.


Doctor ID is populated from database in the dropdown menu




User is able to search Patient’s information such as Name, Address, Bed
number, and Ward number. Search is based on user inputs i.e. Patient Last
Name, Ward number, and Bed number.
