Transfer Learning Segment

Introduction to Java
Programming Concepts

Online Pre
-
Training Class

Designed by

Stephen Osborne

Course Description:

This
is an on
-
line pre
-
training course that has been
designed for students who want to take java
programming 106. Its purpose is to
teach a
basic
introduction of programming
concepts that will
result in
helping students find
solutions that are
appropriate for implementation within the

programming
language environment.
The reason
this learning segment has been introduced is due to
students that have been taking java programming
C100 at Osborne University find
that the class
material is somewhat
confusing. This ultimately
ends in late submission of assignments
and failing
grades.

Course Description Cont’d:

Upon completion of the training class students will
be tested and accesses before being allowed to
attend c100. In terms of transfer of learning, a good
analogy of why this class is important to take would
be the equivalent of learning the alphabet in order to
learn how to spell.
