This course will require programming in Lisp and exposure to Prolog.First,w e will assign
simple functions and then w e will ha v e t w o or three projects.These projects could be
about an y of the follo wing:the implemen tation of a searc h algorithm,an expert system,a
kno wledge represen tation language and/or a simple English grammar.
Grading:T est 1 25%;T est 2:25%;Final 30%;Programs + homew orks:20%.If there
is a QUIZ,it w ould be w orth 10% of the grade,in whic h case the rst 2 tests will be
20% eac h.All projects must b e done individually,unless indic ate d otherwise.Studen ts are
responsible for all announcemen ts made in class.If a studen t misses a class,she/he m ust
