This course is an in

depth study of
the Internet and World Wide Web. It covers web technologies, information architecture, digital media,
web development, vulnerabilities, social software, HTML/XHTML, Cascading Style Sheets, and
JavaScript co
de. Extensive laboratory exercises are expected. Students will also complete a team project.

Describe the structure of the World Wide Web as interconnected hypertext documents.

Describe the importance of the HTTP protocol in Web appli

Discuss Web Standards in terms of specifications, guidelines, software, and tools.
