The meaning of CMOS

:

This strange name is used to designe a small electronical component :
a transistor.


CMOS ( & TTL ) are Logic transistors (gates), wich mean they have 2
levels : logic 0 & logic 1.

As you will see on the pictures, the transistor is pretty small and is easy
to understand.

The use of the CMOS transistor will be explained on chapter 2
