E2ks Terminology

• Community of Practice (CoP)
– The 'Community of Practice', or CoP, is
the fundamental organizational' unit
inside E2ks. E2ks uses the CoP to
organize, configure and assign ownership
of knowledge assets.
• K-PAC – Knowledge Packet
– The K-PAC is the fundamental ‘unit’ of
knowledge in E2ks. K-PACs are structured
encapsulations of technical knowledge,
used to capture, share and reuse
technical know-how.
• Assessment Control (AC)
– Assessment Controls are collections of K-
PACs used to evaluate/assess a
design/process/workflow.
