BRIEF INTRODUCTION

Founded in 1943, the Department of Civil Engineering now has more than
4,000 graduates serving in domestic and

foreign companies, research institutes
and academic organizations. Master's and Doctoral degrees were established in

With the aim of producin

FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT

The Department now has the following laboratories: Engineering Materials Lab,
Structural Mechanics Lab, Soil Lab, Bituminous Materials Lab,
and Rock

Mechanics Lab. These laboratories contain a 500T stru
cture model testing
machine, testing rotary kiln, 150T compression
tester,

30T universal

testing
machine, a 100T MTS with dynamic and fatigue function, and a photoelastic
apparatus.
