Hi,

This is Rob with
Dailywritingjobs.com
. I’ve created this short video
here
to
show you

one method that you can use to
find writing jobs online
.
This method is super
-
simple and it’s one that you can use over
and over
again

to find new writing opportunities
once you get the hang of it.

T
his video
actually
covers one of the
tips in my report
, which you can
grab a copy of after you’re done watching this video
,

on

how
you can
use a search engine to find
writing
jobs
.

I won’t

really

be going into the
same detail here that
you’ll find in the report
, but you can use th
e tips

outlined in this video for free, and you can implement
them

as soon as
you’re done watching this video.

In any case

let’s get started.

We’
re

going to use Google for this example

but
I highly suggest y
ou
try out

other search engines, such a
s Yahoo and Live.com

when you’re
trying this out yourself as different search engines
will produce
different results

which in this case is a better variety of potential
writing jobs.

We
’ll
use the phrase ‘write for us’
for our demonstration today.

There
are numerous other phrases that you can use, and I outline over 20

phrases and
important
trigger words

that you can
use in the report, but
since this is
just an introduction

we’ll just focus on
this one phrase
.

Plus, I’ll
be
show
ing

you different
methods

that you can use to
fine
-
tune these results
for your situation
.

Step

1:

For the first
part of this

video

we’ll
simply plug
‘write for us’

into Google

and
hit enter.

You can see that
ab
out 30

million results pop up

that’s
quite a few

but

the majority of these results
won’t be
what we’re
looking for anyway.

But

if we take a brief look around
, we can see
that

the
re are
possible
opportunities

right away
.

Feel free to
look around
, click through a few
different pages and see if there’s something that catches your eye.

I’m
not going to spend
a lot of time on the results because
I’m just showing
you how to find
writing jobs

on your own
, I’m not actually trying to find
them for you.

As I stated

there are a lot of results
here
, and
these are not going to
be
well targeted at all
, but
there are potential writing opportunities
that you’
ll find using this method

that

will be filtered out
using
the
other methods I’ll outline over the next few minutes.

Step

2

We’re going to tweak our search phrase a little bit

and ad the word
‘pay’ to it.

Because you’re
likely looking for a paid writing job,
this will
be a logical
step
that you would use.

I recommend that you use a plus sign
along with the query

like
‘write
for us+pay’ as that will tell Google that you only want pages that have
the word ‘pay’ in them.

This brings us
a much shorter list of websites to look through

around
4 million.

You’ll notice that the word ‘pay’

is highlighted

in these
results

and that’s what we were looking for, pages with the word
‘pay’ on them.

You can substitute ‘pay’ with ‘paid’ or ‘payment’ if you
wish

and this will give you a
bigg
er pool of results to
look through.

Step

3

Now

so far we’ve been using
the
phrase ‘write for us’ as

a broad
match

meaning
that the websites displayed may not actually have
the
words ‘write for us’

on them.

That’s fine
, but now we want to

start

narrow
ing

things down a little bit.

If we

add parenthesis
around the
phrase ‘write for us’
, G
oogle will only show us web pages with that
phrase on them
.

So

once we plug that phrase in with parenthesis
, we’re seeing under 2
million results, a far cry
from the

initial 30 million plus
results without
parenthesis.

You’ll probably notice that
you’
re seeing a few pages that
you saw
with our
first search

and that’
s to be expected.

Step

4

If you want
, you can plug in the
plus sign
and the words ‘pay’,
‘payment’ and ‘paid’ at this point

that will help
narrow down your
results some.

Just be sure to
keep ‘+pay’ outside of the parenthesis or
you
won’
t be getting the results you’re looking for.

Step

5

This next step will help us
to
fo
cus
-
in on
the type of writing job we’re
looking for considerably.

We’re actually going to invoke a special
search
command
that Google uses, the ‘intitle’ command.

Now, you
can use this c
ommand outside of the
parameters

that we’re using it in
now,
but
using
it at this
point helps to give us the most targeted results.

What we’ll do is enter
intitle:”write for us”

into
the search field.

However,
we
want
to include
an additional keyword

one that
represents
the
topic

of
what we would like to write about
.

As an example, let’s say that you’
re interested writing about SEO
, or
search engine optimization
.
So,
what we’ll do is add SEO to the
search
phrase like so. Basically this is telling Google to show us
the websites
that have the phrase ‘write for us’
in the title and have SEO
somewhere
in the page.

This narrows things down to less than 50 results

and it’s
highly targeted for somebody that
is
looking
to perform
writing services
related to SEO.

You can repeat this
with
other topics: news, gardening, m
arketing and
so forth.

You’ll find

that usi
ng different variations of a word w
ill give
you different results, such a
s garden, gardening, gardens
.

This is just a brief overview of one method that you can use to find
writing jobs online.

If you’re interest
ed,
I’ve put together a
rough
transcription of this video and you can find

a link for it

on the

Daily
Writing Jobs.com
homepage

under the video there.

I’m sure that if you
take the time
to use the steps outlined in this video

that you’ll be able to find
writing jobs using search engines alone
with
relative ease.

Now, if
you want
to find more writing jobs

I highly
recommend that you check out the
daily writing jobs report
,
which will
not only expand
on
how to
us
e search engines

to find writing jobs,
but
it gives
you
a wealth of resources
with helpful commentary
that can put
you on the path
to making money online as a freelance writer

regardless of your
writing experience.

Thanks for
watc
hing and
I hope to see
you on my website soon.
