COURSE DESCRIPTION


This course aims to improve students’ ability in developing we
b applications using Server
-
Side programming, mainly ASP.NET. Students will have strong knowledge about the
methods and tools used in developing web applications. Students will know how the
World Wide Web works to be able to design, implement and configure

its services and
applications effectively.


The course will also be concerned on explaining some theories behind the main web
concepts including; but not limited to: web text and image search, web advertisements,
semantic web, and web mining, with some in
sights on what to use, and how to implement
those ideas from scratch.
