Job Purpose:



Under a ‘Knowledge Transfer Partnership’ scheme, improve Lonza’s competitive offering through
the early adoption of an advanced bioscience Knowledge Management System ‘KMS’



Improve quality, knowledge, speed of service, and efficiency received by Lonza cus
tomers



Improve management of, and access to, Lonza’s business

The role principally delivers in

lab ‘launch su
pport’ to users (Lonza scientists) through the testing
and production of ‘workflow templates’ in BioBook.



Working alongside skilled professionals from Lonza KMS Team, KTP staff, and IDBS
consultants, Lonza IT to deliver successful launches of workflow temp
lates.



Locations: across Slough, Winnersh, John Birch, and possibly Cambridge sites.




Contribute to the set
-
up and operation of the ‘in production’ user support



Help desk & escalation, enable local dept super users, provide user website, training for

Become technically proficient in the use of the specialist scientific knowledge management
software (E WorkBook for Biology, or ‘BioBook’, from IDBS Ltd)
