2.
Connect the Ethernet cable from your computer
to
the
y
ellow Ethernet port on the VOIP adapter.
3.
Start your computer.
4.
Open up your Internet browser and start surfing.
You will be re
-
directed to a login page where you enter
your Trent Login name and Password. If
your
login
and
password does not work try testing your
credentials in the Library. Please see Trent IT if you are
still unable to log in.
Note: You must log i
n before you are able to use
the Internet.
Troubleshooting
1.
If you cannot reach the Trent login page, follow the DHCP SETUP
on the next page.
2.
If you still cannot connect after verifying the DHCP setup:
a)
Unplug the VoIP adapter from the wall jack (the cable
which goes to the blue jack on the adapter)
b)
Unplug the Ethernet cable out of the yellow jack of the VoIP adapter and plug it into the wall jack. This
should bypass the VoIP adapter and your computer should be directly connected to the wall jack.
c)
Test for
Internet connectivity now. If it works, there may by an issue with the VoIP adapter and you
must contact Nexicom. If you still have no connectivity, then contact ResNet Support.
If
you are still having issues please contact our support:
