M.Sc. in Horticulture Quality Management, in the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania
(MAICh) collaborated with the Institute of Subtropical Plants and Olive Tree of the National Agricultural
Research Foundation of Greece (NAGREF). Thesis: Soilless cultivation of tomato in different growing
media (organic and inorganic mixtures of different substrates).

1. In vitro cultivation of Ligustrum delanayanum and the effect of the quality of the light to the plants.
2. In vitro cultivation of buds from Prunus cerasus at MS substrates.
3. In vitro cultivation of Actinidia deliciosa under normal and high light intensity in different BA
concentrations.
The result of this thesis was successful, since it was graduated with honors (10).
From 14/07/1997 till 14/08/1997, I worked out my practice exercise, as agronomist, at the Agricultural
Association of Maleme, in Crete, and from 01-11/07/1997 and 18-27/08/1997 at the orchard of A.U.TH.

Agrotechniques: Soilless culture, NFT, soil-solutions-plant tissue analysis, diseases management, grafting,
