How does
a Robot

interact?

This assignment is about performing a survey on the existing method
s of interaction that
enable

robots to interact with their surrounding context. The context includes humans,
robots, and physical environment.

The survey will cl
assify methods of interaction that
have been introduced by researchers so far. These methods are discussed at the
architectural level.

This research project has two parts, i.e. a group work and an
individual work.

Group work

The survey provides the follo
wing information:

Main components of every architecture including hardware and software

The relationships between components, i.e. how the components collaborate

List of all projects that fall under every category

Describing two examples of every architec
ture in details

What problems of interaction have been solved by every architecture

Individual Work

Using the survey every individual provides

a technical report including his/her analysis:

What problems of interaction are not solved with current architectures

Examples
of the problems that need to be solved in the form of scenarios

What is your solution (architecture design) to every problem
