environmental sustainability. The Indian Biotechnology sector is gaining global visibility and

tracked for emerging investment opportunities.

ABOUT THE COLLEGE

Muthayammal Colle
ge of Arts & Science was founded by the Muthayammal
Educational Trust in the year 1994, with the aim of bringing a new dimension to the study of
arts & science. The college currently offers fifteen Under Graduate Programmes and fifteen
Post Graduate Progra
mmes in both fundamental and advanced courses. Research facilities
leading to M.Phil., and Ph.D., are available in Biotechnology and Biochemistry departments.

CALL FOR PAPERS

Participants can present their papers Orally or by Poster. They are requested to
submit the abstracts not exceeding 250 words in 3½ Floppy Disc / CD using MS

ord along
with one hard copy.

TECHNICAL SESSIONS

The technical session of the congress will consist of Invited Lectures (~45 min) by
eminent scientists, oral (~15 min) and poster presentation by participants. Topics of the
session include Life Sciences, B
iochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics,
Environmental Sciences, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Botany and Zoology.

situated between Salem and Namakkal on the National Highway

Train passengers have to alight at Salem, Trichy, Erode or Karur as the case may
be and reach Rasipuram by bus.
