East, Lehighton, PA 18235

ROLL CALL:

PRESENT:

John Wieczorek
,
Chairman
;

Franklin Ruch, Vice
-
Chairman;
Linda Benner, Supervisor;
B
ruce Steigerwalt, Supervisor;

Todd Weaver, Supervisor;

and
Natalie D. Haggerty, Secretary

PUBLIC COMMENT:

Leo Mathews, 189 Westside Road
, Lehighton

Property dispute with neighbor
, claiming adverse possession of his prop
erty. The Boards

advised
that this is not a
township matter and should seek
an attorney.

Jim Hower, TPEI

Mr. Hower was before the Board looking for explanation as to w
hy he would need to apply for a

conditional use
application when they have been in exist
ence for thirty years.

Operating
as an industrial business
since

1986 until now
without being permitted.

All
this
surfaced over submittal of land development
. Advised it
makes sense to apply for a
conditional use to make it conforming or apply for a non c
onforming use and go before the Zoning Hearing Board.
