What is Biomedical Engineering?



Biomedical Engineering uses
engineering along with biological
sciences and medicine to improve the
quality of human health .



This type of engineering focuses on
understanding of the living systems
through research and development of
technology for creating advanced
medical devices

Area 1: Biotechnology and pharmaceuticals

engineering your starting salary will average about
$45,000 a year.


If you earn a master’s degree, the average starting
salary is $52,355 a year.
