Recent advancements in ICT innovations and value chain

APEC

region can be sources of solutions to strengthen the livelihood development capacity and
entrepreneurial skills for women.
However, there is a lack of
a more holistic framework in APEC
region to address the pressing challenges for women to gain access to
these new
innovations

and
business opportuniti
es
.
This conference aims to

facilitate the sharing of best practices on how
member economies use ICT innovations to enhance women’s capacities of doing business and to
foster an equitable workforce particip
ation of disadvantageous women
.

The ICT related policies, strategies and measures discussed in the event are not restricted
on female

programmes;

a commitment to the empowerment of women through
