To understand what the environmental microbiolo
gy is and to help the student
acquire a basic knowledge about microbiology.



To understand the relationships between human and the microorganisms.



To allow student to gain experience with some basic techniques used for
studying of the microorganisms in the
laboratory.



To understand major microbial problems to the environment including their
causes and consequences with an emphasis on health and diseases.



To understand possible solutions to problems.
