6.1.

Servers and Applications


Lingo24
has servers located as follows:



In the UK

(test and production servers)



In
Romania (development servers)


Lingo24’s

main applications that require maintainance are:

6.2.

Administration and Maintenance


Business needs are evaluated every 6
-
12 month by the
Head of IT and Senior Management
.
Following these meetings the number of servers, their configuration, and the service
providers are decided.


Server setup and configuration are done by the Head of IT to

meet the requirements of
the ongoing projects and to provide the necessary conditions for the smooth running of
production operations.


Monitoring, maintainance, backup and upgrade
s

tasks are done regularly by the Head of IT.
Major incidents are handled b
y Head of IT or Production Manager
who

will decide on the
actions to prevent further repetition of these.


The servers and applications are continuously monitored through:



monitoring software installed on each server with email alerts



receiving daily email

report about activity on servers



manual
monthly

checks



regular manual software upgrades and backups


The data operated by
Lingo24’s

applications and servers is backed up every night on a
backup machine located in Romania.


In case of an emergency, the Hea
d of IT or Production Manager is contacted either
automatically or notified by a Lingo24 employee.
