Course Description:


Basic concepts of electrical quantities, electric signals, circuit laws, circuit
elements and sources. Resistive Circuits include series parallel combinations, dividers,
bridges and ladders, practical sources.
Circuit Analyses tech
niques.
Circuit theorems and
power calculations. Transformers and amplifiers. Operational amplifiers. Energy storage
elements and transient response of first order circuits. Intro. to second order circuits.

The goal of this course is to teach the foundations of electric circuits and to
develop a thinking style and a problem solving methodology based on physical insight.
