Minnesota Public Health Information Network

is a coordinated, statewide approach to
managing public health data and info
rmation
systems being implemented jointly by MDH
and local public health (LPH) departments.
This initiative will increase the use of
information technology in public health
agencies and improve public health practice
and prevention in Minnesota through the

integration of state and local public health
information systems.
