executed against the database.

use. The HTTP:// will

If the EPSI Database Updater option is deactivated in the Custom
Setup option, this step will

be skipped.

If multiple databases reference the same web server, the table:

It is HIGHLY recommended that a domain service account is set up with a
password that does not expire.

SQL Server Maintenance Plan


The following tasks should be set up within a SQL Maintenance Plan.

Reporting Output for Multiple Web Servers


For c

that will have multiple web servers per database, one of the servers in
the group will need to be set up with a shared directory that will house all of the
reporting output.

There are two parts to completing this task: Setup the Share & IIS
Assignment.


Part 1:
Setting up the Share Directory

On the web server that is going to host the reporting output, go to the directory:

Correctly Adjusting the Reporting Service


The Sunrise
-
EPSi reporting service will get installed on each web/report server, but it is
strongly encouraged that this service is active on a single (normally/preferably the
rep
orting) server. Below are steps on how to correctly configure the reporting service.

1)

Log into each web server. Go to Admin Tools


Services. Locate the service:
EPSIReportingRefreshService. Right
-
click and stop the service.


2)

Right
-
click again on the
service and choose “Properties.” On the General tab,
select “Disabled,” then Apply (bottom right). The service will now be disabled.


3)

Log in to the server that will run the EPSIReportingRefreshService (normally the
reporting server). Go to Admin Tools


Services. Stop the service.

Installing Corda 7

(only at the time of server configuration)

1)

Download the Corda 7.0 software and the Corda 7.0 License Key
File from the
EPSi Download page. Both files will be combined in a .zip file.

2)

Uninstall any previous versi
on of Corda from the Web Server. You should be
able to see this program listed in Control Panel

Add Remove Programs. Look
for Popchart or Corda in the list of programs.

3)

Run the Corda7.exe and follow the instructions.

When asked what drive to install Co

Scheduling Data Loads


In order to use the Sched
uling features of Data Loader, contact EPSi.
To schedule a
profile to run on a weekly/monthly basis, click on the ‘Schedule’ button located on the
main menu of Data Loader. The ‘Schedule Data Load’ window will appear. There are
two tabs: ‘Setup’ and ‘S
cheduled.’

Setup Tab


The ‘Setup’ tab is used to schedule the data loading of profiles.



1.

Select the Profile you wish to schedule from the ‘Profile’ dropdown box.

2.

If you want to schedule this profile to be run one time only, place a check mark in the
box
next to ‘Run Once.’ You still must schedule a date and time for this to run either
by selecting a weekly time or a day of the month. After the data load is
accomplished, it will be removed from scheduled list.

3.

If you want the Profile to run weekly, selec
t the day of the week by placing a check in
the box next to the appropriate day of the week and specify the time you wish for the
load to occur.

4.

If you want the Profile to run monthly, select the day of the month from the dropdown
box, specify the time yo
u wish for the load to occur and click the ‘Add’ button. The

day and time will be added to the grid on the left of the screen. To delete the day,
simply highlight the day you wish to delete and click the ‘Delete’ button.

5.

When any changes are made, the ‘S
ave’ button will turn red reminding you to save
your changes. When you are satisfied with your schedule, click on the ‘Save’ button.


Scheduled Tab


You can view the Profiles that have been scheduled to run by clicking on the
‘Scheduled’ Tab. This will a
llow you to view all scheduled data loads.



Editing/Deleting Scheduled Data Loads


1.

Using the ‘Scheduled’ tab, identify the Profile you wish to edit or delete. Make note
of the day and time.

2.

Click on the ‘Setup’ tab and select the Profile from the ‘Prof
ile’ dropdown box.

3.

Make any desired changes and click the ‘Save’ button.
