GENERAL INFORMATION

Introduction

iSP416 is a stand
-
alone multi
-
channel IP networked surveillance encoder using TI DaVinci™ technology for
enhanced video monitoring, robust data streaming, and operation reliability. It is a unit that guarantees easy
installation and integration with most existing security systems.

With iSP416 you can provide a cost effective solution to upgrade any existing D
VR system to an IP networked
surveillance system without replacing any analog cameras. Simply connect the existing cameras to iSP416 to
generate IP video streams. Control individual channels through
Milestone XP
rotect
™ or any other IP Video
Management Software as desired. In fact,
Darim
’s own
VideoSpider
™ VMS enables users to handle
networking, storage managemen
t, and client
-
server operations very easily.

iSP416 delivers high quality video for all channels

30 fps H.264 per channel performance. It is a modularized
networked video encoder NVE that offers the ability to stream high
-
quality video over IP LANs, WANs

and the
Internet using RTSP (over UDP, TCP) and RTMP protocols. iSP416 also includes up to 16
-
channel audio,
alarm, and relay capabilities, thus further enhancing security system functionality.

Darim’s Network Video Encoders provide users with local or re
mote storage possibility for optimal and reliable
surveillance data storing without interrupting the streaming process to multiple client all over the world. Local
storages (USB HDD, USB Flash) can be directly connected to iSP416 video encoder, while the n
etwork storages
require NAS (NFS/SMB/CIFS). Configure storages and shared folders via web interface, as well the individual
storage options for every channel, event triggered recording on motion, external alarm events, etc.

The iSP416 built
-
in web interfac
e supporting multi
-
screen capability has a Flash player option compatible with
all available browser applications (Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari,
Opera, etc.).

video compression. It depends on the link quality, and the actual bit rate can vary, but it wil
l not exceed the set
value of this field. Make sure you have selected the adequate bit rate for existing network condition.

The

Spider
SDK for Integration

Software Development Kit (SDK) and special tools for 3rd party integration are available for
integrators and
OEM partners to provide full flexibility over creating user
-
customized applications.

Spider ActiveX SDK

--

allows customers to create their own simple and sophist
icated client software in fast and
simple way for
VideoSpider
. The supplied documentation and samples VB, C#, C++ code illustrate remote
camera control, live video monitoring, video storage manag
ement, playback of recorded video data and many
other tasks commonly performed by client
-
side software in VideoSpider.

Spider Export SDK

--

provides programmers with ability to obtain
data directly from the
VideoSpider

Core
service on the server side or
SpiderClient

software on the client in order to convert it into
any desired format for
later displaying, processing, sharing, etc.

PTZ/Alarm plug
-
in (PTZA) SDK

--

enables SI/VAR customers to add support for their own PTZ controllers as
well as Alarm se
nsor/Relay output interface modules. The goal of this SDK is to create a variety of custom plug
-
in modules for custom hardware connected to VideoSpider servers.

Spider File Storage (SPFS
) SDK

--

assists software developers in parsing the proprietary Spider

File Storage
(.SPFS) file format and the index file (.INFO) associated with it. This may

be required for the offline storage
analysis, statistics, data extraction, conversion to differe
nt formats, etc.

Each of the SDK packages comes as a self
-
extracting ZIP archive containing all necessary documentation, C++
headers, sample C++ code and ready
-
to
-
compile project files for Microsoft

Visual Studio IDE. All of the above
SDKs are available fo
r self
-
study and evaluation at no additional cost.

SDK components for Encoding cards and Accessories Hardware

iSP4xx devices and SP416 SDK
--

the libraries for interaction with the devices drivers set in the system; provide
the user with uniform interface
for using and controlling these encoding cards and devices.
