Get XAMPP Lite
http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp-windows.html > click XAMPP Lite (30-60mb download)
Install in memory stick drive’s drive letter as the destination (not a subfolder.)
A folder called xampplite will be created on your memory stick drive.
double-click on the
xampp-control.exe
file in the xampplite
directory.
XAMPP’s Control Panel
will be launched
Click start for Apache and
MySQL. “Running” status
should appear

Live view differs from the traditional Design
view in that it provides a non-editable, more
realistic rendering of what your page will look
like in a browser.
Live view renders JS functionality, link rollovers
etc.. It is a static presentation of the page, but
with dynamic data in place.
Does not replace the Preview in Browser, but
rather provides another way of seeing what
your page looks like “live” without having to
leave the Dreamweaver workspace.
