Students will be presenting aspects of their projects in parallel sessions during the day in the
rooms according to the program
published.

Students will be presenting for 15 minutes (max), followed by 10 minutes of questions and discussion.

The 5 minute period between each presentation is to allow the next speaker to prepare equipment for their presen
tation.

Guests, staff and students are encouraged to move between rooms during this 5 minute break as required.

There is a lunch break from 1300 to 1400

A member staff from UTS: Engineering has been nominated as chair for each session. The chair is respon
sible for:


• ensuring presentations start on time,

• ensuring presentations are in the order published on this program,

[Note: timing and sequence is important as there are likely to be staff, students, and guests moving between rooms during the

5 minute
break]

• presiding over the question and discussion times, with the assessor having the floor first.

• ensuring the AV equipment is not left unattended.
