Strategy

1.
The institute commits to transform the complexion of the postgraduate education by enhancing
research and presentation events by continuous funding through increased assistantships or
research funding.

2.
The institute commits to improve the undergraduate education by making the curriculum for the
students more flexible and research oriented so that they are able to feel motivated to acquire
skills, learn principles and imbibe a spirit of innovation.

3.
The institute recognizes the sponsored research activity as an important and integral part of the
academic activity. The focus areas for this program are classified as energy, materials, sensors,
manufacturing, communication, computing and disaster mitigation.

Kanpur during its evolution process from a UG

centric vision to a broader vision of research
and education, it is necessary to consider the reorganization of different departments and
clubbing departments into schools.
