The ACCU-TEK™ 500 Digital Series compression tester meets the demands
of extensive load capacity testing by combining microprocessor technology with
rugged solid steel frame construction for testing high strength concrete.The
space-saving single unit design consists of a heavy duty 500,000 lbf.(2,224 kN)
capacity load frame,hydraulic pump and digital display system.
The digital display system provides an easy-to-use membrane keypad,making
selection of operating parameters a simple process.A pace deviation bar graph
allows for fine adjustment of the loading rate and the automatic stress calculation
is easy to read on the large display.The system has data storage and transfer
capabilities for 500 tests.
The large lower bearing block,combined with a bellows,eliminates hydraulic leaks
by preventing dust and debris from entering the piston/cylinder seal area of the
load frame.The 14" (355 mm) wide horizontal opening provides complete
accessibility for loading specimens.
With the rapid-change platen system,the operator can quickly and easily mount
a wide range of accessories to the upper crosshead for cylinder,cube,beam,and
block specimen testing – from 2" (50 mm) cubes to 12" (305 mm) masonry blocks.
