Please find below details of a change that is to take place which impacts SCI Store
Web Services. This change will only come into effect fo
llowing the implementation
of the stated Build number or subsequent Build number.


If this change has an impact on your application interface to SCI Store please

Implement new FindHCP and FindOrganisation Web Methods

The 'FindHCP' and
'FindOrganisation' Web Services have been added to the existing suite of available
Version 4.1 Web services.



Change Detail:

New Web Service functionality is added to
the existing Version 4.1 of Web Services. These
extensions are FindHCP and Find
Organisation

FindHCP

This returns a list of HCP for a given selection criteria. This method replaces and extends
the previously available GetHCPID. Since it is possible for mult
iple HCP's to have the same
code in the system this call will return a list of HCP's

Request Parameters

Usage

HCPcode

The HCP code (GMCcode or local code) defined in store

HCPid

The sci store internal identifier. This should be unique. If
spec
ified it should only return zero or one item.

Name

This will perform a contains search on the HCP name

Position

This will allow a HCP’s to be filtered on position.

Note: An HCP may have multiple positions defined.

The sci store internal identifier.

HCPdetails

This is of type HCP_DETAIL_TYPE.

Note: Position will be the current position defined against
the HCP. In Store an HCP can have multiple positions defined
against them. The search performed will contain

all HCP’s
that have a particular position.

Find
Organisation

This returns a list of Organisations for a given selection criteria. This method replaces and
extends the previously available GetOrganisationID. Since it is possible for multiple
Organisations
to have the same code in the system this call will return a list of
Organisations.

The Organisationcode (Practice code) defined in store

OrganisationID

The sci store internal identifier. This should be

unique. If
specified it should only return zero or one item.

Organisation
Name

This will perform a contains search on the HCP name

OrganisationType

This will allow a Organisation to be filtered on type
(Hospital,Ward).

This is of type ORGANISATION_TYPE.

It contains the information held in store against this
organisation.







Impact on existing users:

Web Service users will no longer be
ab
le to use the GetOrganisationID and
GetHCPID Web Service calls


Reason for change:

Multiple HCP’s and multiple organisations can have the same code
