Speed Networking

Following
the success of the VIP networking at the WiFi & Small Cells North America event, we repeated
our speed networking for vendors, speakers and senior level attendees at the event in Singapore.

These sessions saw our sponsors meet with a high number of senior

service provider delegates,
providing the opportunity to swap business cards and pitch their most promising products.

This proved very popular with sponsors, senior service provider attendees and speakers; all were keen
to participate and hear about the
latest solutions hitting the market.

A small selection of operator companies who attended speed networking across the two days is listed
below:

“Speed networking is a great way to meet with fellow attendees”

Bob Slorach, Director, Commscope

Pre
-
scheduled meetings & Introductions

In the weeks leading up to the event, our Head of VIP Relationships set up meetin
gs for sponsors and
partners to meet with key service provider attendees and speakers at the event. This was done through a
mixture of pre
-
scheduled meetings and more informal introductions onsite.

Over the course of the event a total of
40
meetings were

held between vendors and selected
senior level service provider attendees. These were a mixture of pre
-
scheduled meetings and
more informal onsite introductions.

This helped create a collaborative and friendly atmosphere onsite at the event for all atte
ndees, and
hopefully encouraged some exciting new ideas to be shared.

“This is a quality event which bring in excellent leads for me.I am looking forward in attend such
targeted events again.

Also those meetings that you set up for me were excellent. The

speed networking is an excellent
idea which I managed to meet potential customers and industry experts to learn more on what is
the latest technology trend in the region.”

Marketing Performance

Below is a breakdown of the marketing undertaken for Wifi & Small Cells Asia 2013. The marketing
campaign undertaken w
as, and continues to be, part of a 12 month Wireless Networks event series
campaign covering direct mail, direct email, onsite event literature, and telecom event page advertising.

To emphasise the co
-
location of both the Wifi and Small Cells events we cr
eated a joint brochure which
highlighted the shared exhibition space and agenda. This was circulated to our internal telecoms
database

and distributed at Mobile World Congress as well as other Informa events.

9

Email Marketing

Keeping in line with t
he brochure branding, we created a joint template header to
highlight both events and went out to market with a different message each week.

10

For part of the email campaign we also focused on interviews from our key speakers, Hermanudin
Mulyani, In
dosat and
Viswanathan Ramaswamy
, Vodafone who shared with us their views and business
cases for introducing Wi
-
Fi and the main challenges they faced. These then linked through to the event
website for the full interview and generated lots of new traffic to

our site!
