Owing to its organic
characters,
OTFT device has

the

potential to create a low cost and
disposable organic

electric

biosensor

market.

We have prepared pentacene
-
based OTFT
and its electronic properties were determined in an airtight system with different gases.
In
acid vapor t
reatment
,

the V
th
and off current become larger
. However,

in alkaline vapor
treatment
,

the V
th
does not

change and on/off current become smaller.
We found that the
p
antacene devices are sensitive with specific gas
es and the electronic properties of the
dev
ice can be improved with specific gas treatment.
To increase the specificity of the
device, small organic and biochemical molecules such as peptides will be integrated into
the pentacene
-
based OTFT.
