As a Marketing manager, you are a fully dedicated business leader, shaping the future of one of our many Google
products. Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business
product (AdWords, AdSense, DoubleClick, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you
lead every facet of the product's journey.
From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature
prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a loyal
consumer base. This means you work with a cross
-
functional team across sales, c
orporate communications, legal,
webmasters, product development, engineering and more. The role enables you to shape the product development
process, organize product launches from beginning to end and form future marketing strategy.

Help shape the search
engine marketing strategy for one of Google’s fastest
-
growing businesses. As a SEM
Manager for Google Apps, you’ll be responsible for driving large scale AdWords campaigns globally and reporting
upwards on performance and marketing impact. You’ll partner w
ith Regional and Central Marketing teams to build
a support structure to provide ongoing management and optimization with a heavy emphasis on data. Rigorous
testing will be critical as you shape a global SEM program, advise on best practices and help the t
eam reach
aggressive acquisition goals.

Responsibilities



Develop and execute plan to support global house ad management



Communicate key learnings and results to stakeholders



Enforce and advise on internal policies and best practices



Coordinate across other

channels to ensure smooth integration of
online advertising into Google’s overall B2B acquisition strategy

Minimum qualifications



BA or BS Degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years of relevant work
experience)



4 years relevant experience

Preferred qualifications



MBA



4 years of experience in digital marketing



Knowledge and proven experience creating, executing and
continually optimizing successful paid search marketing campaigns.



Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues,
leading to
thoughtful recommendations, action plans, and campaigns
that drive high ROI



Comfortable speaking about and presenting data



Knowledge of Ad Servers, campaign optimization tools, and/or
online tracking technology
