Please see the picture below, explanations are below the picture:


This is for the basic settings for all attendance
rules
. I advice clicking the “Audit it” so that any excess
,

under time
or correction
can be easily seen and edited.

Take note
of the “The shortest time zone exceed” this means the minutes you declare will be the
minimum acceptable time for the employee to register a clock out.

Please take note of the “Least Minute of Interval” that within 5 minutes of the last
transaction of the
respective employee the biometric transaction will be marked as invalid. This is due to the rule interval.
You may adjust the interval if necessary.

See the table with yellow arrow, make your corresponding time. As you will notice the morning
shift has On

Duty time “8:00” and Off

Duty time “12:00”
. The beginning of clock in is at 7:30
until 10:00 and clock out

beginnings 11:55 and ends at 12:30.

This means that all transaction on the biometrics from 8 am to 10 am will be
automatically considered as “Clock in”. At 11:55 am to 12:30 pm all transaction on the
biometrics will be considered as “Clock out” for the mo
rning attendance.

Please see the example above as the New State recognized the time in and time out. It is placed in the
New
State as the time is in the category of “after9”.


Please take note the “time in” and “time out” is reflected in the “Misc Exception” report with the
corresponding time calculations.
