Maybe the best strategy to improve AP progress on ALICE is to focus on AP studies as a
priority rather than ‘Machine Characterisation’. Just focus on a few topics to be realistic.


Machine characterisation and diagnostics are more ‘specific’ tasks that wi
ll support (and are
driven by) AP Studies.


Transverse model + comparison with data
. Injector(post booster) + Linac. Quad Scans.
